Cubs are instructed to look at the maze, to walk through it and memorise their path to the other side. They are then sent outside and have to find their way through the maze blindfolded by using their memory and touch. However, once the Cubs are outside, the maze is removed. Leaders to walk beside the Cubs to ensure they don't hit any walls, etc. When they reach the other side, they have made it through the Minotaur's maze - a feat that was considered impossible. Everything is possible once it is done.
