| Resources | Per batch of biscuits: 375g butter or marg 250ml icing sugar 625ml cake flour 60ml custard powder 1 ml salt blue food colouring green food colouring mixing bowls (at least two) mixing spoons baking tray measuring spoons |
| Instructions | To make the biscuits: 1. Cream butter and icing sugar 2. Sift flour, custard powder and salt together and add to mixture 4. Divide mixture in half. Color 1 part blue and the other part green by adding a drop or two of food coloring 5. Knead well 6. Take some of each mixture and roll into a ball 7. Place on lightly greased baking trays 8. Bake in preheated oven (180 degrees) for 15 mins 9. Place on wire rack to cool makes about 40 small biscuits or 20 large biscuits. Can place in brown bags for cubs to take some home rather than eat them all during the programme :-) |
