Play the sounds of the bird calls and get them to identify.

Explain that, although we will build a bird feeder, they should be careful about feeding wild birds:

1. Make sure that you remove food that has got wet and is going mouldy

2. Keep it clean

3. Supplement - so don't feed all the time so that the birds become dependent

4. High enough so cats, etc. can't get to the birds
